About Mano-Yoga Immersion
Physical practice and breathwork can prepare the body and refine the vital force, but the deeper journey of yoga ultimately depends upon the transformation of the mind and heart. Mano-Yoga is the contemplative dimension of Trianga Yoga, where mantra, devotion, ritual, and philosophical inquiry come together as a path of inner refinement.
Set over 14 days in India, the Mano-Yoga Immersion offers a traditional introduction to the devotional and contemplative practices of Tantra and Bhakti. Through daily practice and systematic study, participants cultivate not only understanding but also a living relationship with the sacred traditions of yoga.
If you would like to explore the philosophy, practices, and vision of Mano-Yoga in greater depth before learning more about the immersion, you’re warmly invited to visit the Mano-Yoga page. There you’ll find a more detailed introduction to this contemplative dimension of Trianga Yoga and the traditional principles that shape its approach to mantra, tantra, bhakti, and inner transformation.

Who is This Immersion For?
The Mano-Yoga Immersion is intended for sincere practitioners who feel drawn towards the devotional and contemplative dimensions of yoga. While physical practice and breathwork prepare the body and refine the vital force, Mano-Yoga explores the transformation of the mind through mantra, devotion, ritual, and philosophical inquiry.
This immersion is designed primarily for practitioners who have studied and practised Prāṇa Yoga, as it builds upon the energetic foundations established there. It is especially suitable for those who wish to deepen their understanding of traditional Tantra, Bhakti, mantra sādhana, and the inner disciplines that have long formed an integral part of the yogic tradition.
Practitioners from other traditions who have an established background in traditional Hatha Yoga and share the aims of this immersion are also welcome to get in touch. We would be happy to discuss whether the programme is appropriate for your experience and aspirations. Those who are new to these practices are encouraged to begin with the Prāṇa Yoga Immersion before undertaking Mano-Yoga, allowing the journey to unfold gradually and systematically.

What You Will Experience During These Fourteen Days
The Mano-Yoga Immersion is more than a programme of study—it is an opportunity to live within the rhythm of a traditional contemplative practice. Over fourteen residential days, the disciplines of mantra, devotion, ritual, study, and reflection gradually become woven into the fabric of daily life, allowing understanding to arise not only through intellectual enquiry but through direct experience.
Each day combines guided practice with systematic study, creating a balanced environment in which philosophy informs practice and practice deepens philosophical understanding. As the immersion unfolds, participants cultivate greater steadiness of mind, sensitivity of heart, and an increasingly intimate relationship with the sacred traditions of yoga.
Living and practising together also creates a unique atmosphere of shared enquiry and mutual support. Removed from the distractions of everyday life, participants are invited to immerse themselves fully in the practices, allowing the quiet repetition of mantra, the symbolism of ritual, and the spirit of devotion to gradually transform the way they experience themselves, their practice, and the world around them.

Program Structure
The Mano-Yoga Immersion is built upon the understanding that genuine transformation arises through the harmonious integration of practice and knowledge. Each day combines guided practical sessions with systematic study, allowing participants not only to learn traditional teachings but also to experience them directly. As practice deepens understanding, and understanding gives greater depth to practice, the two gradually become inseparable.

What You Will Learn
The Mano-Yoga Immersion introduces the traditional disciplines of mantra, devotion, ritual, and contemplative philosophy through a balanced blend of guided practice and study. Over fourteen days, you’ll gradually develop the practical skills, understanding, and confidence to incorporate these timeless traditions into your own spiritual practice.
Practical Skills
You’ll learn both the outer and inner dimensions of traditional worship. This includes the procedures of Pujā as well as Mānas Pujā, where every aspect of the ritual is internalised through visualisation and meditation. Participants are guided through the worship of a chosen Deity, learning not only the sequence of the ritual but also the symbolism and inner purpose behind each step. The immersion also introduces a selection of traditional Tantric practices, including Bhuta Shuddhi, Matrikā Nyāsa, mantra, and the recitation of Stotras. Rather than being taught as isolated techniques, these practices are understood as complementary disciplines that cultivate reverence, concentration, and inner transformation.
Philosophical Foundations
The study component explores the philosophical and symbolic principles that give meaning to the practices. Participants examine the Tantric understanding of Gods and Goddesses as archetypal expressions of consciousness and cosmic principles, including an introduction to the Dasha Mahāvidyā. The immersion also explores Bhakti Yoga as a profound path of devotion that extends far beyond devotional singing, together with an overview of the Durgā Saptashati and selected teachings from the Bhagavad Gitā on devotion, selfless action, surrender, and the relationship between the individual and the Divine. Throughout the programme, these teachings provide the context that transforms ritual and mantra from external observances into authentic paths of inner awakening.

What You’ll Take Away
By the end of the immersion, you’ll have established a strong foundation in the traditional practices of Mano-Yoga, including mantra, Pujā, Nyāsa, and devotional contemplation. More importantly, you’ll have gained a deeper appreciation of how these practices work together to cultivate concentration, devotion, self-awareness, and inner transformation.
Alongside the practical training, you’ll leave with a clearer understanding of the philosophical principles that underpin the tradition—from the symbolic language of Tantric Gods and Goddesses to the deeper meaning of Bhakti, surrender, and spiritual practice as presented in the Bhagavad Gitā and related texts. Rather than viewing these teachings as abstract philosophy or cultural ritual, you’ll begin to recognise them as living methods for refining the mind, opening the heart, and nurturing a more conscious relationship with the sacred.
Whether you continue these practices as part of your daily sādhana or deepen your study of the tradition, the immersion provides a meaningful foundation for a lifelong journey of devotion, contemplation, and inner growth.

Certificate of Completion
Participants who successfully complete the Prāṇa Yoga Immersion will receive a Certificate of Completion in recognition of their commitment to the study and practice of Mano-Yoga.
